Covid-19 FAQs

What is FBC Starke doing concerning Covid-19?
  • We are taking every necessary precaution laid out by local, state, and federal safety regulations.
  • We have cleaned and sanitized our facility and will continue to do so on a daily basis.
  • We are also providing hand sanitizing stations at all entrances to our facility.
  • We are doing this to provide a safe and secure place for you and your family to come worship.

What happens when we gather for worship?
  • While it is not mandatory, masks are encouraged. If you do not have one and would like one, we will provide one for you.
  • Social distancing: In order to create a spacious environment, we will be implementing the following
    • We will have every other pew available for seating.
    • Families will be able to sit together while observing 6 feet between others on the same pew
    • Doors will be designated as entrance or exit only and aisles will be directional
  • Tithes & Offering:
    • We will take up our tithes & offering like normal with the exception that our Deacons will be the ONLY ones touching the offering plate

What about Children and the nursery?
  • While we love our children and babies, there will be no childcare during our services until further notice.
  • Children grades 1st - 5th will be sitting with their families in our worship service. We are asking those with children younger than 1st grade to continue to worship with us online.

Will there be Sunday School?

  • We are still doing virtual Sunday school. If you do not have a class and would like to attend one of our virtual classes, please contact the church office.
