Position: Interim Worship Leader
Status: Part-Time
Hours: 10-15 hours per week
Pay: Contract, based on experience
Description: First Baptist Church (FBC) is looking for an Interim Worship Leader. This is a temporary position, with no direct report leadership, reporting directly to the Pastor. The Interim Worship Leader will be responsible for:
• Preparing music for Sunday Worship Service.
• Coordinating and preparing music for any special events as requested/required.
• Utilizing a variety of music formats, to include contemporary worship songs, hymns, etc.
• Working with the Pastor to prepare worship service order and music to complement sermon calendar.
• Directing the worship band, to including weekly practices, special events, etc.
• Coordinating with the Pastor for any special guests or music specials.
• Developing and maintaining weekly worship service run sheet for all team members.
This is a part time role, and will include the following:
• 10:15 a.m. Worship Service – Every Sunday.
• Special worship services, events as directed
• Weekly Band Practice(s)
